  • Hi Mark,

Great advice, especially the one on one bit.

You should always write as if you’re holding a conversation and KEEP IT SIMPLE.

One of the most helpful tips I was given was to write as if the person to whom you’re speaking is only about thirteen to fifteen years old.

If you use difficult language people don’t understand they’ll switch off so you need to make sure everything you write is clear.

People want things easy and regardless of its length your sales letter just has to cover three things –

    Here’s what I’ve got.

    This is what it does.

    Here’s how you get it.

As I said – KEEP IT SIMPLE

    Take care

    Jean

  • I think I heard these tips on GVO Academy one time. Someone needs to drill a hole on a project around the house. If someone comes along and tries to sell a drill without using these principles, the person will not buy the drill. Someone else comes along and talks about how this drill can make holes for the project (describing benefits of owning a drill), the person immediately buys the drill. Stories sell. Keep up the good work in GVO Academy and GVO Conference!

  • Great tips Mark, thanks for sharing!

Sometimes we make things harder than they have to be. These simple steps, if followed, can create real results ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Excellent article,Mark.

This article shows why if someone is putting together a website, but they don’t know anything about sales copy, they would be very smart to spend the extra money to hire an expert to write the sales pages.

As for the rest, some email ads I read,,,uh…yawn!
